INFO/VISITOR SERVICES:

  • Answer thousands of calls and e-mails per year concerning the Tug Valley area, retail shops, restraunts, hotels, activities, and special events.
  • Mail out visitor packages

  • Conduct interviews for newspaper, tv, radio, and supply information for book authors and magazines.
  • We also offer information, photographs and even personal tours for media coverage.
  • Produce and distribute Visitor Guides annually
  • Numerous referral calls

    RELOCATION SERVICES:

  • The Chamber answers thousand of questions per year on life in the Tug Valley area -- from the weather to availability of youth sports.
  • We send out relocation packages with complete demographics, history, maps, Tug Valley area "Where To" directory, location information, accommodations, restraunts, realtors, shopping, news, media, schools, churches, and emergency information.
  • Your Chamber is also a source of information for school papers on history or currents events and a media source as well.
  • We answer numerous referral calls on a daily basis fom new and old residents and businesses, as well as from tourists.

     

    BUSINESSES:

  • Of course, the Chamber's primary role is to assist business in the Tug Valley area.
  • Your Chamber works with Southern West Virginia Community and Technology College and the Small Business Administration to assist new businesses with start-up information.
  • We are an information stop for any new businesses.
  • We strive constantly to increase business for all of our members through our monthly mailings, mixers Business Directory and our website.
  • We Constantly host "Business After Hours" to give locals residents and Chamber members the opportunity to network together as well as to be introduced to new businesses in the area.
  • Chamber members receive a free website link on the Chamber's online Business Directory on our website.
